Welcome to Japan!!
Japan is a destination like no other. It is a place truly timeless, ancient traditions and fused with modern life with high technology. Japan is the place where the most natural thing and the best human technology collaborates. We introduce lots of information about Japan in our blog page. Please visit our blog page as well!!

– Traditional Culture –

Many people might seem Japan is exceedingly modern, but you will have numerous opportunities to feel and connect with the country’s traditional culture when you visit Japan. Spend a night in a ryokan (traditional Japanese hotel), feeling just right in a traditional Japanese style bathhouse, and sleeping on futons which placed on tatami mats, or you can go further spending a night in a traditional Japanese farmer’s wooden house. Meditating with monks or learning how to whisk bitter matcha (powdered green tea) into a froth in a traditional house with a beautiful Zen rock garden will help you let go of things. From the elegance of a Kyoto geisha dance to the dynamic of a Ukiyo-e (Japanese paintings and woodblock prints), Japan has the enchantment to enthrall even the most modern traveler.

– Food –

Wherever you are in Japan, you will never be far from meal. In Japan, Restaurants often specialize in just one kind of food, such as Sushi, Ramen, Gyu-don (flavored beef rice), or Tempura (deep fried fish, shrimp, vegetable etc.). Most of those restaurants are small like a boutique. So you will find a place to eat almost every 100 meters in urban area. Also, Japanese cuisine has great regional variations. For example, the ingredients of Miso soup, the most famous home made food, are different from place to place. Furthermore, every place has some different foods which are climatically or geographically right to the place, like the delicate sushi is most famous in coast area. It also differs from seasons, meaning you can enjoy totally new taste at a different time of year.

– Outdoor –

Japan is a long and slender, highly volcanic island. It’s covered by two-thirds of mountains, with bubbling hot springs everywhere. Hiking is an excellent activity in the warmer seasons. The natural cedar groves, beautiful wildflowers and pure spring water will help you going up to soaring peaks. In the winter, all those soaring peaks are covered with snow and you can enjoy world class skiing. Meanwhile in the southern coasts, there are tropical beaches for sunning, snorkeling and diving.

– Ease of Travel –

Efficient public transportation enable you to travel smoothly. The shinkansen (bullet train) runs all the way from Kyūshū (the southernmost of Japan’s major islands) up to Hokkaidō (its northernmost), and the reasonable price of the tickets make it affordable. There are subways in major cities with English guidance, and there are more and more people who can speak English in Japan. But still, you may have difficulty to communicate with them. These difficulty and experience are also what you can enjoy over seas though.
